Hot-curing Epoxy

Hot-curing epoxy refers to the curing mechanism of epoxies, where additional thermal energy, i.e. extra heat exposure, is required to cure the epoxy resin. After dispensing, the progressive curing reaction results first of all in gelling and then in solidification of the casting resin. Finally, a dimensionally stable body is formed. The final material properties are reached after curing obove the glass transition temperature (Tg).
