Combining durability with versatility

Numerous applications. Customized solutions.

At RAMPF, C.A.S.E stands for highly resilient elastomers, customized casting and construction materials, and an all-encompassing portfolio of innovative reaction resins.

Our RAKU® PUR (polyurethane), RAKU® POX (epoxy), RAKU® SIL (silicone), and RAKU® Melt (hotmelt) systems are used in:

  • Filters (casting, sealing air, oil, and hydraulic filters)
  • Insulating panels (gelcoat layer and foam) for refrigerated vehicles
  • Window frame bonding
  • Edge casting for laboratory equipment, hospitals, and schools
  • Elastomer molds for the cement industry
  • Abrasives

Our diversity in this field means we are much in demand as a solution partner. We tailor our product development to your specific requirements regarding both the product and the processing procedure.

Together with application expert RAMPF Production Systems, we develop products that are used on the simplest manual mixing and dispensing systems to highly automated dispensing technology.

Applications

Polyurethane (2C)

  • Low to high viscosity
  • Good adhesion to metal/wood and plastic
  • Universally applicable over medium to large areas
  • Rapid complete curing for short process times
  • Workhorse with a wide adhesive spectrum
  • Temperature resistance from -40 to +100 °C
  • Low shrinkage
  • High abrasion resistance
  • Soft elastic to very hard systems
  • High mechanical and chemical resistance
  • Certified to VDI 6022

Silicone

  • Exposure time from a few minutes to several hours
  • Highly flexible elastic bonding and sealing (elongation at break for 2C systems: approx. 300%; 1K > 300%)
  • Extremely water-repellent
  • Universal adhesion, also to metals
  • Excellent chemical resistance
  • Outstanding temperature resistance from -60 to over +200 °C
  • High UV stability
  • Optimum physical properties, virtually constant over the entire application temperature range

Epoxy

  • Short to long pot life, from 5 to 110 min
  • Exposure time of 5 to 150 min
  • Good adhesion to aluminum and other metals
  • High temperature resistance from -55 to +180 °C
  • Excellent chemical resistance
  • Cures at room temperature
  • Systems with rapid curing for short process times

Hotmelts

  • Can be thermoplastic or reactive
  • Exposure time from just a few seconds to > 20 min
  • Applied by spraying or using a roller or slotted nozzle
  • Hotmelt adhesives are used when the initial strength (good to high for our products) needs to be achieved quickly
  • For bonding different plastics, metals, as well as wood and paper
