Dr. Frank Birkelbach new Manager of Sales International
Dr. Frank Birkelbach will assist RAMPF Giessharze GmbH & Co. KG from April 2010, at headquarters Grafenberg. Birkelbach, who formerly worked as the Sales Director for Sachtleben Chemie GmbH in Duisburg, will take over as the new Manager of Sales International at the specialist for polyurethane, silicone and epoxy resin systems.
Dr. Frank Birkelbach has worked for 15 years within the chemical industry. From his profound knowledge will greatly benefit RAMPF Giessharze GmbH & Co. KG in the future. As a doctorate in chemistry, he will become the key sales contact for clients in Europe, Asia and South America. Birkelbach, in his new position, would like to combine his technical and business knowledge to attract new clients and unlock new markets. His first travels will be to important sales partners in countries within Europe, before journeying towards Asia and South America.
Frank Birkelbach studied at the Ruhr University in Bochum. The 42 year old gained his extensive experience in reactive resin systems from the lacquer industry. For nine years Birkelbach was employed by the lacquer plant Karl Wörwag in Stuttgart. Here he worked his way from lacquer development for technical clients to Key Account Management for major clientele. In 2004 Birkelbach moved to Sachtleben Chemie GmbH in Duisburg. The company manufactures white pigments and functional additives. After working at the company segmenting markets and organizing the sales structure of the firm, he succeeded in becoming the Sales Director. Birkelbach’s responsabilities entailed global sales of Sachtleben products within the dye and lacquer industry.
