RAMPF Group sells its automation division

The RAMPF Group from Grafenberg, Germany, parts from it’s sister company RAMPF Automation, in the Austrian Neumarkt, as of the first of January 2010. Both equal buyers of RAMPF Automation, Isocell Vertriebs GmbH and Engl Maschinenbau GmbH, have their headquarters in Neumarkt. Partners have agreed upon the contents of the contract confidently.

"With Isocell and Engl we have found the best partners for RAMPF Auto-mation”, said Michael Rampf, Chief Executive Officer of the RAMPF Group. Isocell, a specialist in organic insulating materials, and Engl, both extend the automation expertise with its own product line, benefit from the know-how and also from the spatial capacity. All 17 employees have been retained. With the sale of RAMPF Automation, the RAMPF Group will focus more on the core competencies. These being reactive casting resins and engineering. "It has been planned to use our existing synergies in to the future through cooperation of the company’s employees", adds Michael Rampf. The RAMPF Group with its headquarters in Grafenberg is a leading company in the field of reactive casting resins and machine systems with cur-rently 400 employees. RAMPF secures its operational presence in the market with five companies – RAMPF Giessharze (= casting resins), RAMPF Dosiertechnik (= dispensing technology), RAMPF Tooling (= tool-ing), EPUCRET Mineralgusstechnik (= mineral casting) and RAMPF Ecosystems (= recycling). They all are united under the roof of holding. Impor-tant foreign markets, besides Europe and Asia, are the NAFTA nations. RAMPF thus has its own subsidiaries in the USA, Japan and China.
