RAMPF Group, Inc. begins their own production

The RAMPF Group, Inc., the American subsidiary company of the RAMPF-Gruppe is enhancing its presence in North America. Since recently the company which is based in Wixom has been selling not only polyurethane systems but also manufacturing the plastics as well. To make this possible RAMPF invested approximately 1 million dollars into their own production. The current capacity is approximately 1,000 Tones per year.

The mixers in the new factory of RAMPF Group, Inc. no longer stand still. The production capacity is at present approximately 1000 Tones.

The RAMPF Group, Inc. was the first foreign subsidiary of the RAMPF Group of companies and was founded in 2003.

Shorter delivery times, lower freightage costs, no complexities through customs and logistics – that is the result of the unique liquid production in Wixom. In total the RAMPF Group, Inc. invested one million dollars into the construction of the capacity. After one year of planning and construction, the 2800 m² factory has recently started producing foam gaskets out of polyurethane. The materials are predominantly used for the sealing of door modules for the Automobile Industry. The production capacity is at present around 1,000 Tones per year and can be increased at any time according to demand.

With their strong presence in North America, the RAMPF Group, Inc. has established a solid base for further growth in the country of infinite possibilities. Since their foundation in 2003 the business has achieved yearly increases in sales of 100%. But the pure distribution of Tooling production, Polyurethane systems as well as mixing and dosing systems is not enough for the CEO, Jürgen Penker. “With the new manufacturing facility we intend to reinforce our longterm engagement in the USA and improve our position within the markets we serve”, commented Penker. As of 2009 the 34 year old will also lead the establishment of electro casting resins sales and production. One of the biggest competitive advantages he can see is in the quality of the products. „Made in Germany comes across like always. Because of this we work here under German Quality Requirements, which are coincidentally upheld in the entire RAMPF Group” confirms the engineer.
