ATEX

The term ATEX stands for "ATmosphère EXplosible" and is an abbreviation for the ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU. This directive regulates the placing on the market of explosion-proof electrical and mechanical equipment, components and protective systems within the European Union. For RAMPF, ATEX plays a role in the production of dissipative casting compounds and sealing foams which are used for applications in potentially explosive areas.
